Our subsidiary, Monticello Raceway Management, Inc., owns and operates the Monticello Casino & Raceway in Monticello, NY. The facility includes over 1,000 slot machines and electronic table games, as well as dining and live entertainment. Monticello Raceway has been conducting harness racing since 1958 and Monticello Casino and Raceway opened its doors to slot machine gaming in July 2004 and has already hosted over 5.5 million visitors.
Empire, through its indirect, wholly-owned subsidiary Montreign Operating Company, LLC (“MOC”) has entered into a License Agreement to use the “Resorts World” brand for the resort casino currently under construction in Sullivan County, New York. This property will include an 18-story casino, hotel and entertainment complex with 130 table games, 2,150 state of the art slot machines, a poker room and private gaming salons. Guest amenities will include 332 all-suite luxury rooms, which include 12 penthouse suites, 8 garden suites and 7 two-story villas, two indoor pools, a spa and fitness center – all designed to meet 5-star and 5-diamond standards. Guests will be able to choose from 10 varied bar and restaurant experiences and also enjoy year-round live entertainment at the over 2,000-seat event center, casino bar, restaurants and lounges. In late 2018, the entertainment village will open and provide additional entertainment, food and accommodations. In spring 2019, a Rees Jones-redesigned 18-hole golf course will debut. The entertainment village and golf course are also being developed by subsidiaries of MOC.
