EXECUTIVE BIOS

JOSEPH A. D'AMATO
Chief Executive Officer

Mr. D'Amato brings over three decades of financial management, senior accounting and gaming operations experience to Empire Resorts and provides broad industry experience and particularly intimate knowledge of the Northeast gaming market.

Mr. D'Amato most recently served as the Chief Executive Officer of Mount Airy Casino Resort in Pennsylvania, from 2007 to 2009, and as Chief Financial Officer of the Seneca Gaming Corporation in Western New York from 2002 to 2005 and as its Chief Operating Officer from 2005 to 2007. During his earlier career in the gaming industry, Mr. D'Amato served in various executive capacities with the Trump Entertainment, Park Place and Golden Nugget organizations. From 1970-1975, Mr. D'Amato was a Senior Auditor at Ernst & Young. Mr. D'Amato has participated in raising over $2 billion in the public and bank finance markets, and has extensive experience with Sarbanes Oxley and the filing requirements and regulations of the Securities & Exchange Commission. He has been a CPA in New Jersey and Pennsylvania and received an MS in Taxation from Widener University in 1985, an MBA (Finance) from LaSalle University in 1978, and a BS in Business Administration from LaSalle University in 1970.

Mr. D'Amato also currently serves as a member of the Empire Resorts, Inc. Board of Directors.

CHARLES A. DEGLIOMINI
Executive Vice President of Government Affairs and Corporate Communications

A recognized leader in New York State racing, casino and Native American gaming policy for over a decade, Mr. Degliomini is an Executive Vice President of Government Affairs for Empire Resorts. Previously, he was Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing of eLottery, Inc. the first firm to advance the technology to facilitate the sales and marketing of governmental lottery tickets on the Internet. Before taking the position at eLottery, Mr. Degliomini was President and Founder of Atlantic Communications, a New York-based corporate and government affairs management company. Mr. Degliomini served in the General Services Administration (GSA) as Chief of Staff to the Regional Administrator, was a U.S. Senate legislative staff member and was the New York State Communications Director for the Reagan-Bush campaign in 1984. Mr. Degliomini has a B.A. in political science from Queens College and is an M.A. candidate at the New York University School of Public Administration.

Nanette L. Horner
Senior Vice President/Chief Counsel/Chief Compliance Officer

Prior to her employment with Empire, Ms. Horner worked in the Office of Chief Counsel assigned to the Bureau of Licensing of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board ("Board") since July 2005. In September 2006, Ms. Horner was named the Board’s first Director of the Office of Compulsive and Problem Gambling. She is a member of the Standards, Policies and Regulations Interest Group for the National Council on Problem Gambling, and American Mensa. Ms. Horner is on the advisory board to the National Center for Responsible Gaming’s Annual Conference on Gambling and Addiction, was elected to the Board of Directors of the International Masters of Gaming Law ("IMGL") in 2008 as the representative of the Regulators Affiliate Member classification and is a member of the IMGL’s Responsible Gaming Committee. She has been involved in the gaming industry, as an attorney, since 1996 and is an adjunct professor of law at Rutgers University School of Law-Camden where she teaches Casino Law.

Laurette J. Pitts
Senior Vice President/Chief Financial Officer

Prior to joining Empire Resorts as Chief Financial Officer, Ms. Pitts most recently served from December 2008 until December 2010 as Regional Vice President of Finance and Administration for American Racing and Entertainment, LLC, a private company that owns and operates horseracing, resort, and gaming facilities, including Tioga Downs and Vernon Downs. She previously was employed as the Chief Financial Officer for Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs, a gaming and entertainment facility owned by the Mohegan Tribe of Indians of Connecticut, from April 2005 until November 2008.

Ms. Pitts has held a variety of senior financial positions with Seneca Allegany Casino, Mystic Lake Casino & Hotel, and The Tunica Sheraton Casino and at Harrah’s properties in Tunica, Memphis and Atlantic City. Ms. Pitts received her MBA from Metropolitan State University in St. Paul, Minnesota and her BA degree in accounting from Stockton State College in Pomona, New Jersey.

CLIFFORD A. EHRLICH
President and General Manager

Clifford A. Ehrlich is Monticello Casino & Raceway's President and General Manager. A 25 year hospitality veteran, from 1981-1996 Mr. Ehrlich served as Vice President of the Pines Hotel, an iconic 422 room Catskill Resort that featured a golf course, ski area, and 1,200 seat night club.

As Monticello Casino & Raceway's President and General Manager, Mr. Ehrlich serves as the principle operating executive for all casino and harness racing operations.

From 1996 to 2004 Mr. Ehrlich was the President of Monticello Raceway, one of the nation's oldest harness raceways. In 2004 he helped supervise a $27 million renovation and construction which transformed Monticello Raceway into today's Monticello Casino & Raceway. From 2004 - 2007 Mr. Ehrlich worked as Senior Vice President of Operations at Monticello Casino & Raceway prior to being promoted to President and General Manager in 2007.

Mr. Ehrlich's education includes a B.S. in Business Management from University of Colorado and he is a board member of the Sullivan County Tourism Advisory Board, past President of Catskill Resort Association, and past Track Director of the United States Trotting Association.
